Scaatycat Cattery

We were adopted by a stray cat in the late 1970s, and have had at least one in our home ever since then. Our latest is a little black Persian who was abandoned by his former owner at a friend's home. Our daughter brought him over, and this little pile of black fur decided he would stay with us. We named him Maxx, took him to a groomer who had to give him a lion cut because he was so matted, and then to the vet, who diagnosed a heart murmur and put him on Nadolol. His tongue is a little too big for his mouth, so it hangs out most of the time, which makes him more endearing.

I am a retired RN, married with 2 adult daughters. I have problems with my knees and back, so I am at home most of the time, and Maxx keeps me company.
